Our clinics are comfortable, spacious, and family-friendly, with free parking and easy access.

As well as the initial franchise fee of £20,000, you will also need a deposit for the scanning equipment and other start-up costs, such as premises, marketing, and staff. We estimate that you should budget around £75,000 for the total investment for your clinic. However, this may vary depending on your location and the size of your clinic.

Yes, you can. The franchise fee and all of the necessary equipment can be financed through specific lenders. We have excellent relationships with various lenders who can support potential franchisees, subject to their normal lending criteria. We are happy to introduce you to our contacts who can answer any funding questions you may have.

No, you don’t. We provide you with all the training you need to run the business, and on-going support to make the business a success. You will learn everything from how to operate the scanning equipment, to how to manage your finances, to how to market your clinic. All you need is a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a desire to make a difference in people’s lives.

Premises can vary depending on location. Your clinic may be located on a high street or a business park, whatever the location we will help identify suitable premises for your business. Ideally, your clinic should have:

• A reception area and a waiting room

• A scanning room with enough space for the equipment and the family

• A consultation room for private discussions and tests

• A storage room for supplies and records

• A staff room and a toilet

• A parking space for customers and staff

Every franchise launch is unique and individual. We will work with you to get you up and running as quickly as possible. There is usually a lead time of around 12 weeks for the CQC inspection and we will maximise that time for your benefit. All our initial training is done on a one-to-one basis, and this enables you to get your Imaginatal business off the ground efficiently and effectively.

The Imaginatal franchise agreement is for 7 years, with an option to renew for another 7 years. This gives you the security and stability of a long-term partnership, as well as the flexibility and freedom to exit the business if you wish.

The ongoing fees and royalties for an Imaginatal franchise are:

• A monthly management service fee of 15% of your turnover, which covers the cost of the support and services we provide to you, such as customer services, marketing, IT, training, and quality assurance.

• A variable monthly marketing levy starting from £500, which goes towards the national and regional marketing campaigns that we run to promote the Imaginatal brand and generate leads for your clinic.

We will provide you with a comprehensive marketing plan and toolkit, which includes:

• A personalised page on our website and and post on our social media pages for your clinic

• A range of online and offline marketing materials, such as flyers, brochures, banners, and posters

• A listing on the Imaginatal website and online directories, such as Google My Business and Yelp

• A referral programme and a loyalty scheme to encourage repeat customers and word-of-mouth recommendations

• A PR and media support service to help you generate local publicity and awareness

As an Imaginatal franchisee, you will need to comply with the legal and ethical requirements of the industry, such as:

• Obtaining a CQC registration and adhering to the CQC standards and regulations

• Following the guidelines and codes of practice of the professional bodies, such as the British Medical Ultrasound Society and the Society and College of Radiographers

• Ensuring that your staff are qualified, trained, and insured to perform the scans and tests

• Maintaining a high level of hygiene, safety, and confidentiality in your clinic

• Providing accurate, honest, and respectful information and advice to your customers

• Respecting the diversity and dignity of your customers and staff
