Who Can Use Our Testing Service?

Our tests are available whether you are feeling unwell, or want specific screening for diabetes, liver function, hormones, allergies, cancer markers or otherwise. You can take full advantage of our test and diagnostics service with just a simple call and booking, without any need for a referral. ​If you know which tests you need, we can organise your appointment or you may wish to consult with our clinical team to decide on the most appropriate diagnostic test – given your symptoms.

What Does Our Blood Testing Service Include?

  • 20-minute or 40-minute appointment depending on the number of investigations

  • A qualified and HCPC registered sonographer

  • Phlebotomy service provided by qualified staff

  • A scan report of our findings, if included in your booking

  • All digital images emailed to your GP, if included

  • A detailed report of your blood results

FAQs

  • We ask all phlebotomy patients to make sure they drink plenty of water before the appointment, and there are also several tests that will require fasting.

  • We can normally see you within 24 hours' notice. We can also carry out out-of-hours appointments. Please call us if you need an appointment as quickly as possible.

  • Aim to arrive about 10 minutes early to allow for time to fill out paperwork. Though we always aim to be on time, due to the nature of healthcare appointments, we may sometimes be behind. If we were running late, it would not be more than 10 minutes late.

  • We will e-mail you a written report of your results, normally within 48 hours. The results and any scan images will also be emailed to your GP.

  • Please drink plenty of water so that there is a higher chance of a successful blood draw. If we are unable to get a sample on the day we will rebook you for another day convenient to you
